Jared will share techniques for developing effective surveys that will enable you to gather information about stakeholder needs. He will then show you how data visualization tools like Tableau can be used to analyze your survey data and help turn your survey data into actionable information.

Jared McEntaffer is the CEO of the Dakota Institute. He is a South Dakota native who grew up in Pierre, started his career in Rapid City, and now lives in Sioux Falls where he leads the Dakota Institute. McEntaffer earned his bachelor’s degree at South Dakota State University and his PhD at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. He has a passion for working with business leaders and policy makers across the state. He and the Dakota Institute leverage experience and expertise to raise the bar for economic analysis and data-driven decision making in South Dakota.
